Up above in the links of my page theres a link for “gallery”. One of my main goals for 2010 was to have a “virtual gallery” of sorts set up for people actually intrested in work I show. Not everyone can make it to galleries I show at, so I figured this would be just as nice.
The girls series is something I plan on visiting a few times. Growing up, I watched an unhealthy amount of television. I was actually usually shy to bring up older, obscure shows I would watch, as I thought it would be a dead give away to the amount of time spent inside versus outside playing like a normal kid. It didn’t really work out that way as little by little I realized how normal it was for people in my generation to grow up this way.
I started to notice that, even though my pieces are meant to kind of make a primordial soup of the original aspects, most people can still make out what they originally were, and feel the connection to older shows they would watch, or more importantly, the feeling it brought them. So in a sense, this is my nostalgic series.
All pieces are spoken for, sorry if you were interested. I do plan to release a few prints in the future related to the Girls series, so please keep your eyes peeled for information on that.
